Who we are
Therapy that sees all of you
At ICA Counselling & Supervision, healing doesn't ask you to leave your culture, language, faith, or story at the door. Our team of registered social workers, psychotherapists, and supervised clinicians works with anxiety, depression, complex trauma and PTSD, grief, relationship challenges, and the mental health impacts of migration and displacement.
We were built for the people the system too often overlooks — refugee claimants and newcomers, BIPOC and 2SLGBTQ+ communities, injured workers, and anyone who has been told their story is "too complicated." It isn't. It's just yours.
Your sessions may already be covered
We are approved providers under several funding programs
- IFHP (Interim Federal Health Program) — for refugee claimants and protected persons. We bill IFHP directly; no upfront cost to you.
- NIHB (Non-Insured Health Benefits) — for eligible First Nations and Inuit clients.
- WSIB — for workers recovering from workplace psychological injury.
- EAP & private insurance — direct billing or receipts for reimbursement, depending on your plan.
Not sure what you qualify for? Book a free 15-minute consultation and we'll help you figure it out — in your language.
Therapy in the language you think and feel in
In order to better support you, we offer sessions in the following languages:
-
Our clinicians offer sessions in English, French, Arabic, Farsi, Urdu, Portuguese, Spanish, Dari, Somali, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Russian, and Bangla. When your language isn't on this list, we arrange professional interpreters at no cost to you — interpreter-supported therapy has been part of how we work from the beginning.
How it works
